As we reflect on the ministry of Christ, the last supper certainly paints a vivid picture. Jesus broke bread, and blessed the cup signifying His ministry as a Priest ‘according to the order of Melchizedek’. When we use the term ‘Melchizedek Life’ we are referring to the life of God Himself that He has made available to us. Christ fulfilled every element of the last supper as He endured the death of the cross. His body was broken, and His blood was poured out, opening a ‘new and living way’ on which we can walk. Marvelously, Christ is now sending us to walk this pathway.
